Born and raised in New York City, Pat Jow studied drawing and design at the Syracuse University School of Art, and painting at Hunter College of the City University of New York. She graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York at New Paltz where she concentrated in printmaking, painting and photography.
Pat Jow is listed in "Who's Who in American Art;" "Who's Who in the West;" "Who's Who of American Women;" "The World Who's Who of Women;" "The Dictionary of International Biography;" "2000 Notable American Women;" "Who's Who in the World;" and in "The International Who's Who of Professional and Business Women."
